In 2022, Paul Abraham, the Wales Paedophile, who enticed young children into his residence and subsequently assaulted them, concealed his “unsavoury secrets” for three decades.

Paul Abraham, 66, perpetrated repeated rapes and indecent assaults on one of his victims when she was 13 years old.

The assaults occurred from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, leaving both victims to contend with the profound psychological repercussions of their abuse.

Paul Abraham enticed his initial victim into his residence in Cardiff on several occasions.

The court was informed that an initial instance of kissing escalated into numerous penetrative cases of rape against the vulnerable 13-year-old, who remained silent about her suffering for years.

A female, one year older, joined the younger victim at Paul Abraham’s residence, where he provided her with a drink before assaulting her so violently that she bled.

After Paul Abraham entered not guilty pleas to all charges, the matter proceeded to trial in August, where a jury convicted him of raping both girls and indecently assaulting the younger girl.

Judge Michael Fitton KC informed Paul Abraham that he had led a pretty everyday life for 30 years, concealing his “dirty secrets,” until the younger woman reported the rapes she suffered to the police in November 2019.

Judge Fitton sentenced Paul Abraham to 18 years in incarceration, two-thirds of which must be served before parole eligibility.

Paul Abraham’s eyes expanded in astonishment as the judge conveyed the duration of his incarceration, before he gradually turned away and trudged towards the cells.
