In 2022, Christopher James Attwood, 39, of Countess Close, was incarcerated during a Bournemouth Crown Court hearing on Thursday, November 3.
He was convicted of two charges of rape, three counts of indecent assault, and two acts of sexual assault in a prior trial at the same court.
Christopher James Attwood was permanently registered as a sex offender and subjected to an indefinite sex harm prevention order.
In August 2018, the initial victim informed the police that she had been raped and sexually assaulted by Christopher James Attwood at a location in Bournemouth in 2002, when she was 11 years of age.
Christopher James Attwood was interrogated and subsequently freed pending inquiry as detectives conducted additional enquiries.
In March 2021, a second victim emerged, alleging that she had been subjected to recurrent sexual abuse by Christopher James Attwood from 2001 to 2011, beginning at her primary school age.
The offences transpired in the regions of Bournemouth, Poole, and Southampton.
