In 2022, Rodney Paul Webster, a Northampton Paedophile, was incarcerated for a decade-long campaign of abuse against three youngsters.
Rodney Paul Webster, 58, formerly of Northampton, has received a sentence of 14 years and eight months after being convicted of 22 counts of indecent assault committed over 30 years ago.
Northampton Crown Court was informed that he attempted to assert his innocence; however, a jury in his September trial concluded that he had raped and sexually molested the three youngsters on numerous occasions between 1978 and 1988.
Detective Constable Kelly Roberts, the principal investigator, stated: “Rodney Paul Webster believed he had evaded justice, enjoying liberty for over 30 years; however, this case demonstrates that the passage of time is irrelevant – we will exert every effort to ensure you are incarcerated for your actions.”
These three children are now adults and have endured this abuse for an extended period. I am grateful for their fortitude and perseverance throughout this extended investigation and for providing testimony in court.
“Although Rodney Paul Webster’s actions will permanently affect them, they can take pride in their courage to speak out, which has resulted in his imprisonment.”
