In 2025, Brian George David, the British RAF Paedophile, 81, incarcerated in 2022 for a 20-year sentence, thankfully died at Torbay Hospital, according to an inquest.
At the concise hearing held at Exeter County Hall on July 11, senior coroner Philip Spinney commenced the inquest into the demise of Brian George David.
Mr Spinney stated that Brian George David was born in Bristol and lived in HMP Channings Wood, located near Newton Abbot.
Mr Spinney stated that Brian George David was divorced at the time of his death on June 15 and confirmed that he was incarcerated in jail.
The court was informed that Brian George David was brought to Torbay Hospital on May 27 due to respiratory distress. He passed away on the evening of June 15.
The medical cause of death was identified as 1a) aspiration pneumonia and 1b) combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema.
The hearing was suspended, and a comprehensive inquest would occur later.
Brian George David was jailed in December 2022 after he was convicted by a jury at Bristol Crown Court of eight counts of indecent assault, three counts of rape and two counts of buggery.
The RAF Paedophile Coward had told the jury the allegations were a “load of bloody nonsense”.
Court reports stated that the former RAF man had repeatedly abused his victim from when she was eight through to when she was 17 years old.
Speaking behind a screen, the complainant said the abuse left her with anxiety and depression, for which she has had counselling and therapy. She said she had been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
She told the court, “I smell his cigarette smoke every day. I don’t feel like getting up, I don’t eat properly, and I don’t sleep properly.
“He knows he is guilty. I want him to remember every day what he did to me. He ruined my life.”
Nikke Coombe, prosecuting, said Brian George David forced the child to commit sex acts on him and he forced himself on her on multiple occasions.
The court heard she was a vulnerable youngster who felt unable, at the time, to report Brian George David to her loved ones.
Jailing him for 20 years, Recorder Mr James Bromige told Brian George David: “You are not in good health, you have a diminished life expectancy, and the prospect is you will die in prison.”
