A 55-year-old Keadby Paedophile, Christopher Waby, has received an 18-month prison sentence for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
Christopher Waby, residing on Chapel Lane in Keadby, near Scunthorpe, perpetrated the act against the vulnerable adolescent in the Market Rasen vicinity in May 2023.
Christopher Waby was sentenced today (13 October) at Lincoln Crown Court, and a restraining order has been issued to prohibit any future contact with the victim.
District of Columbia Marie Williamson from our Protecting Vulnerable Persons Department stated: “The victim in this case has demonstrated remarkable courage in disclosing this offence perpetrated against her during a period of significant vulnerability when she was unable to defend herself.”
Christopher Waby was assigned the responsibility of her care, but he chose to exploit this trust for his own perverse sexual enjoyment, subjecting her to a brutal sexual assault that has profoundly affected his victim’s life.
This jail sentence conveys that such offences will not be tolerated.
“While the victim will never forget the incident, we hope this sentence provides her with closure and assists her in beginning to reconstruct her life.”
