A Morecambe Paedophile sexual offender, Carl Pearson, who indecently exposed himself to a minor, has evaded incarceration thanks to British Justice.
Carl Pearson of Morecambe appeared at Preston Crown Court, where he admitted to indecent exposure involving a female minor under the age of 16.
The court was informed that Carl Pearson displayed his genitals to the schoolgirl for his own sexual enjoyment.
Upon entering the courtroom for sentencing, Carl Pearson grinned at the victim and her family, resulting in his removal from the court.
The victim subsequently read her impact statement from behind a screen to protect herself from the smirking perpetrator in the dock.
The prosecution informed the court that during the episode of exposure, Carl Pearson persisted in giggling in the dock at the details.
He has exhibited no regret for his conduct.
Following the judge’s issuance of an 18-month community order to Carl Pearson, the offender exhibited a demeanour of smugness and arrogance.
Carl Pearson is required to register as a sex offender for a duration of five years. A five-year restraining order was instituted.
