British Rapist and Macclesfield resident, William Kyaruhanga received an 8-year sentence for raping an English woman at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, September 11.
The 58-year-old resident of Belgrave Road, Macclesfield, was convicted of a single count of rape.
On Saturday, December 30, 2023, the adult female victim was with pals at a location in Congleton. Having consumed alcohol, she enquired if anyone might provide her with a ride home. Her acquaintance reached out to William Kyaruhanga, whom she was familiar with, to see if he might escort the victim home.
William Kyaruhanga arrived and remained at the location for some time, during which the victim dozed out beside him on the sofa while her friends ascended to sleep upstairs.
The victim awoke to William Kyaruhanga assaulting her. She repelled him before ascending the stairs to inform her companion about the incident.
William Kyaruhanga was accosted and subsequently departed from the location. The victim reported the event to the police the next day, leading to William Kyaruhanga’s subsequent arrest.
