A Manchester Paedophile sex offender, Christopher Atherton, has been incarcerated for crimes against minors occurring nearly 20 years apart.
Christopher Atherton, born on February 7, 1978, residing on Milnthorpe Way, Manchester, was sentenced to 13 years in prison at Manchester Minshull Street Court this week, on September 1, 2025, subsequent to a prior trial.
His actions against two girls in the Trafford area extend back to the early 2000s.
He was convicted of sexually assaulting a child under 13 and inducing a child under 13 to participate in sexual activity in connection with an incident that occurred in 2019.
Christopher Atherton was convicted on three counts: two of indecent assault and one of sexual assault, occurring between 2001 and 2004 when his female victim was under the age of 16.
