A 29-year-old rapist from Christchurch, Dorset, Joshua Blachford, has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for the rape of a lady in Ringwood.
Joshua Blachford, residing on Everest Road, entered a guilty plea to the charge and was sentenced at Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday, August 12.
The event that resulted in his imprisonment occurred at a location in the town between Saturday, February 17, and Sunday, February 18.
In addition to his incarceration, Joshua Blachford is mandated to register with the police upon his release from prison.
He is required to comply with the stipulations of a restraining order, which prohibits any contact with the victim.
