A Kingswood Paedophile, Ricky Morgan, who sexually assaulted a little child over 20 years ago in Bristol has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
Ricky Morgan, residing on New Cheltenham Road in Kingswood, frequently assaulted the girl in the early 2000s and confessed to the offences at his court appearance earlier this year.
The 61-year-old confessed to sexually assaulting the girl repeatedly while she slept over several years.
Ricky Morgan’s abuse was revealed to law enforcement two decades later, and subsequent to an inquiry, he was charged with various offences.
In March before Bristol Magistrates’ Court, he admitted guilt to three counts of indecent assault against a girl, and three charges of sexual assault involving a minor under the age of 13 by physical contact.
The judge imposed an eight-year jail sentence on Ricky Morgan, issued an indefinite restraining order for the victim’s protection, assigned a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and mandated compliance with notification requirements under the sex offenders’ register.
