A convicted Ellesmere Paedophile Child Molester from Shropshire, Kieran Bowers, has been sentenced to imprisonment after being adjudicated guilty of sexually assaulting a minor.
Kieran Bowers, 27, was sentenced to six years in prison at Shrewsbury Crown Court last week.
The offences committed by the former resident of Ellesmere, currently residing on Avondale Drive, Shrewsbury, were revealed after a friend of the victim contacted him over WhatsApp.
Kieran Bowers received a sentence for four charges of assaulting a girl under the age of 13 through inappropriate contact, in addition to two counts of sexual communication with a minor and two counts of violating a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO).
The offences occurred between July 2022 and April 2023.
Kieran Bowers individually acknowledged four offences of violating a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) after being discovered with internet gadgets that he had not disclosed to the police.
Three charges of producing indecent images of minors were retained on record.
Judge Anthony Lowe, presiding at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday, August 8, sentenced Kieran Bowers to five years’ imprisonment for the offences of which he was convicted at trial.
He received an additional 12 months of incarceration for violating the SHPO established after the 2017 jail sentence.
Kieran Bowers is indefinitely subject to the SHPO and has been mandated to register as a sex offender for life following the Truro Crown Court hearing. Both directives remain effective.
Kieran Bowers was informed that he is need to pay a £228 surcharge upon his release.
