A Bemerton Heath Paedophile Child Molester from Salisbury, Colin Bell, has received a sentence of six years and four months in prison after admitting to several sexual offences that date back to 1994.
Michael Colin Bell, referred to as Colin, aged 72, of Pinewood Way, Bemerton Heath, was sentenced on June 8 at Salisbury Crown Court for two counts of indecent assault, two acts of sexual assault, and two counts of gross indecency.
The horrific transgressions of Colin Bell extend across multiple decades, with certain instances originating more than 30 years ago.
During the sentencing hearing, powerful victim impact statements were read aloud in court. One victim described the lasting trauma: “Trying to explain how this has affected me is the hardest thing I’ve ever done because there is no way to explain what this has done to me, all I can do is try and describe what is my life now.”
