A 63-year-old Tiffield Paedophile, Martin Steele, has been sentenced to over six years in prison after admitting to child sexual offences.
Martin Steele, residing on High Street North in Tiffield, commenced the grooming of a teenage girl in 2024.
Throughout this period, Martin Steele transmitted multiple sexually explicit text messages, regularly praised her physical attributes, and subsequently urged her to partake in sexual activities as a component of their ‘relationship’.
The acts were revealed via a third-party report to Northamptonshire Police, leading to Martin Steele’s arrest and subsequent charges of five counts of engaging in sexual activity with a minor and one case of sexual communication with a child.
After admitting pleas to the charges at Northampton Crown Court on July 1, Martin Steele returned to the same court on August 4, where he was sentenced to six years and nine months of incarceration.
Martin Steele received a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a restraining order forbidding him from contacting the victim.
