A deviant paedophile from the Isle of Wight, Jordan Canning, convicted of many acts of sexual penetration on a girl, has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Jordan Canning, residing on Star Street in Ryde, appeared via video connection for sentencing at Portsmouth Crown Court this morning (Friday).
In May, a jury found the 32-year-old guilty on three of the four charges of engaging in penetrative sexual intercourse with a girl aged 13 to 15 while being 18 or older.
The trial of Jordan Canning went for five days.
The crimes, involving acts of sexual penetration against a female, occurred in May 2023.
Recorder Malcolm Gibney, the sentencing judge, imposed a five-year prison term on Canning.
Jordan Canning was subjected to a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a restraining order, both of which will stay in effect until further notice.
