A SENTENCING date for a Walsall Sex Offender, Hargutake Basra, convicted of sexually attacking a Banbury woman has been postponed again.
Hargutake Basra, of Weston Street, Walsall, was scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday, August 7, at Oxford Magistrates’ Court.
The 51-year-old is guilty of sexually attacking a Banbury woman on August 24, last year. Legal reasons make her unable to be named.
Hargutake Basra was also convicted of drunk driving in Russett Street, Bodicote, on October 16 last year with 157 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Hargutake Basra was expected to be sentenced on Wednesday; he was found guilty of the charges on November 21 and July 7.
The matter has now been postponed, though, to take place at the same court on August 20.
