A serving Metropolitan Police officer, DS Christopher Arnold, has been terminated without notice for inappropriately touching a colleague in a sexual manner.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Arnold, affiliated with Metropolitan Police Operations, participated in a three-day hearing that concluded on Wednesday, 23 July.
DS Christopher Arnold was judged to have violated the norms of professional conduct concerning discreditable behaviour.
These violations constituted egregious misbehaviour.
On 22 July 2021, the panel received an accusation that DS Christopher Arnold had deliberately groped a female officer on her buttock.
DS Christopher Arnold will be added to the Barred List maintained by the College of Policing. Individuals listed are ineligible for employment with police forces, local policing bodies, the Independent Office for Police Conduct, or His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services.
