The Wilmslow Paedophile, Daniel Carter, has been found guilty of many sexual crimes after a four-day trial at Chester Crown Court.
On Thursday, July 10, Daniel Carter was unanimously convicted on 10 counts of child sexual offences, which included the rape of a child under 13, exposure, sexual assault, participating in sexual conduct in the presence of a minor, and causing or persuading a child to participate in sexual activity.
A 28-year-old individual without a permanent residence in the Macclesfield region has been remanded in custody and is scheduled for sentencing on Friday, September 12.
Cheshire Police initiated the investigation in November 2022 subsequent to a revelation by the victim.
The jury was informed that Daniel Carter commenced the sexual abuse of the girl in 2019, when she was merely 9 years old, and persisted for a duration of 3 years.
Daniel Carter was promptly apprehended and subsequently indicted for the charges.
