A Southall Paedophile, Caetano Mauricio Vas, who inflicted years of egregious sexual assault on a kid has been sentenced to over twenty years in prison.
Caetano Mauricio Vas, 54, previously residing on Lady Margaret Road in Southall, was sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment at Swindon Crown Court today (05/06).
A jury convicted Caetano Mauricio Vas of four charges of child rape involving a victim under the age of 13, two counts of sexual assault through penetration, one count of enticing a girl under 13 to engage in sexual behaviour, and one case of sexual assault.
Caetano Mauricio Vas sexually molested his victim starting at the age of eight, profoundly affecting every aspect of her life and leaving her with suicidal feelings.
Caetano Mauricio Vas induced terror in her by asserting that he would disseminate compromising images if she disclosed his reprehensible abuse to anybody.
The incidents occurred in Swindon from 2014 to 2016, but the victim courageously spoke up in 2021.
Caetano Mauricio Vas refuted the charges, and the case proceeded to trial in March. The woman recounted her harrowing torture to a jury, which subsequently found the offender guilty on March 17.
