Idaho is focussing on an online Satanic criminal network, the 764 Pedophile Cult, that exploits local minors for sexual assault, highlighting increasing national apprehensions on the associated dangers.
The office of Republican Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador has issued a warning against “a perilous online sextortion scheme orchestrated by a transnational criminal organisation identified as ‘764’,” according to a statement provided to the Daily Caller News Foundation. According to Labrador’s office, members of the gang, increasingly prioritised by federal law enforcement, are “actively targeting children in Idaho and nationwide via gaming platforms and messaging applications.”
“The perpetrators of this network are deliberately exploiting children worldwide with calculated malice,” stated Labrador. “My office will utilise all available resources to unveil these predators and safeguard Idaho families.”
The alliance of exploitative organisations coerces and extorts minors, generally aged 9 to 17, into disseminating obscene photographs or participating in self-destructive actions, stated Labrador’s office, reflecting FBI characterisations of the phenomenon. The offenders thereafter utilise such photographs or activities as leverage in persistent threats and extortion.
The FBI has reported that 764 criminals intimidate victims using swatting, “doxxing,” and other tactics if their immoral demands are not granted.
“The strategies frequently result in victims enduring their suffering in silence, as the offenders manipulate emotions of fear, shame, and isolation to prevent their victims from seeking assistance,” stated Labrador’s office. In several situations, victims have been compelled to commit suicide on video.
Followers of 764 Pedophile Cult are drawn to technology platforms favoured by youth, like as Discord, where moderators face challenges in successfully preventing predators, as previously documented by the DCNF. They frequently use a combination of Satanic and neo-Nazi iconography.
In April, Idaho’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received 15 distinct reports from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) concerning alleged sextortion activities occurring within the state, according to Labrador’s office.
Certain federal defendants accused with 764 Pedophile Cult-style exploitation have identified themselves as adherents of various Satanist factions, including the Order of Nine Angles (O9A), a cult recently linked to a conspiracy to assassinate President Donald Trump. The FBI characterises criminals from such groups as “Nihilistic Violent Extremists,” driven by “a profound disdain for society and an aspiration to induce its downfall.”
The Labrador office reported that “as of May 2025, the FBI has more than 250 active investigations related to” 764 Pedophile Cult.
In April, the Trump government arrested purported leaders of a 764 Pedophile Cult-member “child exploitation enterprise” and has subsequently intensified public warnings regarding the associated concern. Labrador is among a select group of state-level authorities who have commenced aligning with the federal government’s directives.
“Parents must understand that this threat is genuine, escalating, and flourishes in silence,” stated Labrador. “Awareness constitutes the primary line of defence.”
