Unbeknownst to the Wirral grandfather, Colin Robinson, he was conversing with an undercover cop, alias Lucy, who was impersonating a schoolgirl in September 2019.

The former Cammell Lairds employee, Colin Robinson, residing on Borough Road, Seacombe, confessed to five offences related to attempting to compel a child to observe a sexual act, attempting to persuade a child to participate in a sexual act, and attempted sexual communication.

He was incarcerated for two years.
