Victor Valentine, aged 29, has been made subject to a strict five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) following a successful police application to protect women from harm.
The court granted the order after law enforcement presented evidence demonstrating that Valentine, a self-proclaimed misogynist and online incel, posed a serious risk to female members of the public.
The preventative action followed a documented history of unprovoked public violence directed towards women.
Police applied for the civil order as a proactive safeguarding measure to monitor Valentine’s behaviour, despite him having no previous convictions for sexual offences.
The court imposed rigorous restrictions governing Valentine’s digital access, device usage, and public conduct.
Under the conditions of the SHPO, Valentine is strictly prohibited from:
- Accessing, browsing, or contributing to online incel forums and associated digital platforms
- Possessing more than one internet-enabled device
- Failing to hand over his digital device to police officers for inspection upon request
- Disabling location tracking data on his mobile device at any time
- Entering, loitering outside, or approaching female-only public spaces, including changing rooms and toilets
The order was granted to ensure continuous monitoring and prevent future offending against women and girls in the community.
The Sexual Harm Prevention Order will remain in effect until 25 August 2031.
Any breach of the court-ordered prohibitions constitutes a criminal offence, rendering Valentine liable to immediate arrest and a custodial sentence of up to five years’ imprisonment.
