In 2026, West Yorkshire Police detectives in Calderdale issued a public appeal and circulated an e-fit composite image following an incident of indecent exposure committed in Sowerby Bridge.
The incident occurred early on the evening of 4 August 2026 at approximately 6:00 PM along Tuel Lane. Officers were dispatched following a report that an unidentified man had deliberately exposed himself in the public street.
Calderdale police launched an investigation to trace the individual responsible, carrying out local inquiries and compiling a composite likeness based on witness statements.
Officers released a description of the suspect:
Male aged in his late twenties
Approximately 5ft 10in in height
Medium build
Short light brown or blonde hair
Investigators are appealing directly to the public to assist in identifying the man shown in the e-fit image. Anyone who was in the vicinity of Tuel Lane around 6:00 PM on 4 August, or who recognises the suspect, is urged to make contact with law enforcement.
