In 2020, the Offender Database reported that Terrence Dean, the St Helens Paedophile Child Molester, who perpetrated a sexual crime against a young teenage girl, asserted that he was acting to “alleviate her stress.”

Terrence Dean, then 46, of St Helens, Merseyside, perpetrated sexual offences against the minor on multiple occasions.

On June 25, he was punished for the sexual offence against the girl and for the creation of obscene photos.

The 46-year-old participated over video link from HMP Altcourse at Liverpool Crown Court earlier today before Judge David Aubrey, QC.

In message communications with the girl, Dean also said he would “come and sort her out”.

Upon the confiscation of his phone, officers discovered 15 explicit images of the teenager. During the questioning, the girl reported that she had been solicited to send photographs of herself nearly every day.

Paul Becker, in defence, clarified that Terrence Dean had acknowledged the charges at the earliest chance for the “most serious of matters”.

He also stated that Terrence Dean experiences depression and anxiety.

Judge Aubrey sentenced Terrence Dean to four years and nine months, a reduction from five years, due to Dean’s prompt guilty plea and the prevailing circumstances in prisons regarding the coronavirus.

Terrence Dean was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, to which he will be subject indefinitely.
