In 2013, the Offender Database reported that Seedy Tambedou, 39, and Omar Sanyang, 40, were sentenced at Lewes Crown Court.

Seedy Tambedou, a doorman from Eastbourne, was sentenced to a total of nine years for rape and attempted rape, while Omar Sanyang, a care assistant from Bexhill, was sentenced to seven years. The court heard that the two men raped a woman on September 28, 2012, during a birthday celebration in Eastbourne, an assault that left the victim severely traumatised.

Seedy Tambedou and Omar Sanyang were both ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life. Judge Hayward noted that there was compelling evidence against both men and that Seedy Tambedou and Omar Sanyang showed no remorse for their actions.
