Robert Pomroy, the Newport Paedophile, has received a sentence of 13 years and four months in prison at Cardiff Crown Court.
The 76-year-old individual from Newport, Robert Pomroy, has previously entered a guilty plea to twelve charges, which encompass the rape of a girl under the age of 13, six counts of sexual contact of a girl under 13, and five crimes related to the taking, creation, or possession of indecent photos of children.
Robert Pomroy was apprehended in August 2023 following reports to the police regarding claims of sexual abuse involving three girls, each aged 10 or younger at the time.
During the inquiry, electronic equipment, including phones and laptops, were confiscated from his residence, revealing indecent photographs spanning all three severity levels.
Robert Pomroy attended Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, 10 September, where he received a sentence of 13 years and four months in jail, along with a 15-year restraining order.
