In 2026, the Offender Register reported that Mohammed Osman had been incarcerated after being discovered red-handed by two women who posed as a 14-year-old girl online.
Mohammed Osman, who has no fixed address, appeared at Chester Crown Court on June 29th to be sentenced.
He had previously pleaded guilty to the following charges: attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child as an adult, causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity, and attempting to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to view or examine an image of sexual activity.
The 37-year-old was sentenced to 27 months in prison and issued a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Osman believed he was communicating with a teenager named Olivia from February 15 to March 17, 2026, who told him she was 14. He continued to attempt to engage in sexual communication with her, sending over inappropriate images and several videos of himself, as well as requesting that she send him inappropriate images, despite this admission.
