The Offender Database reported that Martin Hogg, the Bury St Edmunds Paedophile Sex Offender, has been incarcerated for the perpetration of multiple sexual offences against minors.
Martin Hogg, 73, of Worcester Close, Bury St Edmunds, was sentenced to nine years’ jail on Monday, 17 November, at Cambridge Crown Court.
His guilty plea was entered at a prior hearing at Ipswich Magistrates Court, where he admitted to three offences pertaining to child sexual assaults occurring between 31 August 2024 and 15 February 2025.
These constituted sexual communications with a minor, inciting a minor to engage in sexual activity, and inciting a minor to see sexual activity. All of these incidents involved a single victim.
On Thursday, 22 May, at Cambridge Crown Court, Martin Hogg admitted guilt to an additional 18 offences occurring within the same timeframe, which encompassed multiple charges of meeting a child following sexual grooming, causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, engaging in sexual activity with a child, and sexual communication with a child, involving seven additional victims, all of whom were minors.
Subsequently, an additional minor victim was located, and three more sexual crimes were acknowledged following the defendant’s admission of guilt.
Martin Hogg (shown below) was also issued an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
