The Flimby Rapist, Leo Wilson, 19, residing on School Drive, was sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court after admitting to charges of rape and attempted penetrative sexual activity with a minor during a hearing earlier this month.
The court was informed that two girls were at Leo Wilson’s residence in 2021, engaged in playing computer games, when they subsequently fell asleep.
One of the females awoke in the early morning hours to discover Leo Wilson above her, initially sexually assaulting her and subsequently raping her.
The girl and her companion subsequently departed.
Leo Wilson was apprehended but declined to respond to enquiries during his police interrogations.
At court, Leo Wilson pleaded guilty to both offences and received a sentence of three years and two months in prison.
Leo Wilson was also subjected to a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and an indefinite registration on the sex offenders list.
