In 2022, Lee Robert Wilson, a Waterlooville Paedophile, was incarcerated for the sexual abuse of a child in Waterlooville.
The abuse, committed by 49-year-old Lee Robert Wilson of Wait End Road, was initially reported to law enforcement in October 2017.
The courageous victim, now an adult lady, informed investigators of the abuse she endured at Wilson’s residence on multiple occasions in the late 1990s while she was under 16 years of age.
After an extensive and intricate investigation, Lee Robert Wilson was indicted, and the case proceeded to trial at Portsmouth Crown Court on 29 March of this year.
The jury convicted him of three charges of indecent assault on a minor under 16, and Lee Robert Wilson appeared in the same court today (Thursday, April 7) for sentencing.
Lee Robert Wilson was incarcerated for six and a half years and will be subjected to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
District of Columbia Marie Harding, who examined the case, stated: “Lee Robert Wilson has inflicted significant harm and suffering upon the woman, who was a minor at the time of this abuse.”
I wish to congratulate the victim on her valour in reporting this event to the police and her fortitude in attending court to provide testimony.
“I would like to express my gratitude to all parties involved in this case for their patience during the protracted investigation.”
