Within months of his release, the malevolent Southcote Paedophile Jon Womack attempted to engage in sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl.

Jon Womack was convicted by a majority decision of raping a woman at Reading Crown Court in July.

A ‘severe sexual offender’ from Southcote has received a six-year prison sentence following a conviction for rape.

On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, Jon Womack sexually assaulted a woman in her thirties in Southcote.

He was convicted by a majority conviction of rape at Reading Crown Court on Friday, July 15, after a 10-day trial.

The 37-year-old resident of Coronation Square, Jon Womack, was sentenced at the same court on Friday, August 5.

Detective Gary Tull, the investigating officer, stated: “The emotional impact on the victim has been significant since the incident in June 2014.”

“The victim has had to endure the fear and humiliation of the assault while recounting her experience in court.”

He stated: “This conviction will facilitate her progression in life and safeguard the public from a significant sexual offender.”

During the same trial, Mr. Jon Womack was acquitted of an additional charge of rape and one charge of assaulting a female aged 13 years or older by penetration.
