After sexually abusing a very young child and posting the graphic video of the abuse online, Jasmine Somerville, a North Tyneside female paedophile, was sentenced to prison.

Jasmine Somerville, 33, a former caretaker from North Shields, admitted to sexually assaulting a child under the age of thirteen, as well as to sharing and creating offensive photographs.

She received JUST a 38-month prison sentence at Newcastle Crown Court. She is also bound by a sexual harm prevention order and is required to sign the sex offenders register for life.

Jasmine Somerville told the court that she was coerced and threatened into committing the crimes by her internet contacts, primarily through Snapchat.

She claimed that if she did not comply, private images would be made public, which the simpletons sentencing her took into account.
