James Carr, A PAEDOPHILE from Bridgend, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for several child sex crimes.
Following a week-long trial at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court, James Carr, 68, of Bridgend, was found guilty of 10 charges of sexually abusing a child under 14, two counts of rape of a male under 16, and two counts of buggery.
The crimes were reported to the police in 2022 and took place between 1986 and 1995.
On Wednesday, July 1, Merthyr Crown Court condemned him to 15 years in prison.
In addition, Carr was placed under a lifelong restraining order and must register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life.
