Braden Peters, the 20-year-old online influencer known as “Clavicular”, has been formally charged with rape and drugging an individual for sexual intercourse in the state of Massachusetts.
Court records confirm that criminal charges have been filed against Peters in connection with an incident alleged to have taken place in May 2025 on Cape Cod.
The formal indictment lists three charges:
- Rape
- Drugging a person for the purpose of sexual intercourse
- Providing liquor to a person under the legal drinking age
The criminal case follows a separate civil lawsuit lodged against Peters earlier this year.
In that legal filing, a woman who stated that she was a child at the time alleged that Peters provided her with multiple drinks of vodka before subjecting her to non-consensual sexual intercourse at his parents’ home.
The claimant also stated that Peters injected her with an unauthorised substance not approved by health authorities.
The official criminal charges filed this month do not publicly name the alleged victim.
Peters has built a substantial online following as a prominent figure within the “looksmaxxing” community—an internet subculture dedicated to maximising facial symmetry and physical attractiveness through intense and often controversial physical protocols.
He had previously documented and advocated dangerous practices, including “bone smashing”, which involves using hammers or blunt tools to repeatedly strike the jawline in an attempt to alter bone structure.
Peters has previously faced legal scrutiny in the state of Florida, where he pleaded no contest earlier this year to discharging a firearm in public after filming himself shooting at a deceased animal, alongside a separate arrest on suspicion of battery that prosecutors later declined to pursue.
Responding to the Massachusetts charges, a spokesperson for Peters stated that the allegations were “bogus”.
Peters subsequently posted a video on social media platform X referencing the accusations and alleging that the legal claims were a financial attempt to target his commercial earnings.
The criminal proceedings remain active and are scheduled to progress through the Massachusetts judicial system.
