The Offender Database reported that Friday Ugurou, Exeter Paedophile and Sex Offender, has been incarcerated for the attempted sexual assault of a minor in Devon.
Fifty-year-old Friday Ugurou, previously of Exeter, assaulted the victim in Axminster on Friday.
On Thursday, May 2, he was sentenced to nine and a half years at Exeter Crown Court.
During the trial, the court was informed that Friday Ugurou attempted to sexually assault the woman in an upstairs area of a home before being interrupted.
He subsequently ceased the assault and implored her to remain silent.
Friday Ugurou was apprehended and interrogated but departed the county during the investigation.
He persisted in eluding justice, inflicting additional grief and psychological harm on the victim.
During the trial, he asserted that Friday Ugurou was framed, an allegation that was rejected by the jury.
