In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Derek Keeling, a Wombwell Paedophile Child Molester, a Barnsley pensioner, received a 24-year prison sentence after admitting to many sexual offences against two minors.
Derek Keeling, previously of Wombwell, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, was sentenced today at Sheffield Crown Court after pleading guilty to 24 sexual crimes during a hearing in December of the previous year.
During the December hearing, Keeling, then 73, pleaded guilty to several counts of rape, sexual assault of minors under and over 13, and inducing a juvenile to participate in sexual behaviour.
He pleaded guilty to three counts of creating indecent photos of minors and one count of distributing such images.
Derek Keeling was sentenced to 24 years in jail, will serve an additional year on licence and has been issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
