A former teacher, Dennis Fletcher, at Kent’s Junior King’s School, was imprisoned for sexually abusing a student over 40 years ago.
Between 1978 and 1997, Dennis Fletcher served as a resident boarding master at the institution.
During that time, he had already admitted to sexually abusing another youngster.
Both were assaulted between 1978 and 1982 while they were under the age of 14.
Today, Canterbury Crown Court sentenced Fletcher, from Broadstairs, to 11 years and nine months in prison.
One of the victims remembered how Fletcher, who lived in an apartment near the boys’ dorms, would patrol at night and punish anyone caught violating the rules.
