David Pogmore, who has a history of abusing pets and children, and who was featured on Jeremy Kyle for putting an umbrella down the throat of a terrified dog, has now attacked other dogs, resulting in the death of one and the injury of another.
An individual named David Pogmore, who is 35 years old and is from Warsop, savagely attacked two pugs, resulting in the death of one of them and the severe injury of the other.
Due to the fact that Pogmore had attacked a Springer spaniel named Ruby, he was sentenced to a prison sentence of four months and prohibited from having animals for a period of fifteen years in September of 2012.
In front of the judge, he described how he tied the terrified dog to the ground with a walking stick and then jammed an umbrella into her throat.
An eye that was swollen and bloodshot, bruising around the head, a cut to the back of the skull, and bleeding from a cut to the back of the throat were some of the injuries that she sustained.
It was reported that Pogmore made an appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show in November of 2016, with the intention of obtaining the results of a paternity test.
Following the unanticipated disclosure of information on his conviction for animal cruelty to the audience, Jeremy took the initiative to face Pogmore.
During the broadcast, Pogmore abruptly left the show amid a wave of boos, and the episode was featured in national publications the next day.
Pogmore was brought back before the courts last month to confront additional accusations of animal cruelty as well as a breach of his 15-year ban because he attempted to kill an animal.
Although the specifics of the case have not yet been reported by the media, we have been informed that it is connected to the pugs Bernie and Betsy, who are both owned by a woman with whom Pogmore is familiar.
In a post on Facebook, the proprietor wrote:
“This vile monster abused and critically harmed my Pug dogs on two separate occasions two years ago. On both occasions, they were severely injured.
Bernie, my infant son, never made a full recovery. His spine and brain were both severely injured as a result of the forceful kick that he delivered towards him. We are deeply saddened by the fact that we were forced to make the difficult choice of putting him to sleep.
A separate incident occurred in which he assaulted my girlfriend, Betsy. He kicked her twice, pulled her femur, flung her against a table, severely injured her head and caused blood in her eye. He also caused her to fall to the ground. For the purpose of keeping her limb together, she was had to undergo surgery and have a metal rod implanted in it. The damage that he created has irrevocably altered the course of her life.
Betsy is now incontinent, fearful of most men, suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), is terrified of loud noises, and frequently bawls her eyes out while sleeping.
The sentencing hearing took place today.
A penalty of two years and two months in prison was imposed on him, and he will serve the entire sentence. Additionally, he has been prohibited from ever owning or being around animals again.
