In 2026, West Yorkshire Police circulated a public wanted appeal and released a photograph of 41-year-old Christopher Stalker, who is actively wanted after failing to comply with statutory Sex Offenders Register notification requirements.
According to investigating officers, Stalker, of Leeds, was recently released from prison into the community. Following his discharge from custody, he failed to adhere to the mandatory terms and supervisory conditions imposed under the Sex Offenders Register.
Extensive inquiries and operational searches have been underway across West Yorkshire to locate Stalker and return him to custody or secure compliance with his registration conditions. Intelligence indicates that he is currently frequenting or residing within the Armley or Holbeck areas of Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police are appealing directly to the public for assistance, urging anyone who spots Stalker or has knowledge of his movements to report his location without delay.
Anyone with information that could assist officers in establishing the whereabouts of Christopher Stalker is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police by dialling 101 or via the online live chat facility at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat, quoting reference number 13260499664.
