Detectives have issued a CCTV image of a black male they are looking to speak to after a woman was seriously assaulted in Chester City centre.
The incident occurred between 2:30 am and 3:00 am on Sunday, 16 March, at a bar on Northgate Street, Chester.
The victim, a 20-year-old English woman from Chester, was assaulted by an unknown man and sustained serious injuries.
The victim was hospitalised for a month as a result of her injuries and has since been discharged.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and as part of the investigation, officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to.
