Alleged British and Perth Rapist, Yung Filly, a BBC personality, YouTuber, and rapper, has been apprehended and indicted for sexual assault.
The British internet star is accused of raping a woman in her twenties at a hostel in Perth on September 28.
Yung Filly is charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three charges of assault, and one act of obstructing a person’s breathing by exerting pressure to the neck.
Yung Filly, born Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is accused of assaulting a lady following his performance at Bar1 Nightclub in Perth.
His bail application was adjourned when he appeared at Peth Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 10, according to reports by The Daily Star.
In a statement, Western Australia Police said: “This investigation is ongoing and Sex Assault Squad detectives urge anyone with information relating to this matter, or any similar incidents, to call Crime Stoppers.”
The comedy act rose to fame as part of the popular YouTube group Beta Squad, taking part in events like Soccer Aid in 2020.
He has collaborated with a number of famous faces, including KSI’s internet group the Sidemen.
He also presented BBC Three shows like Hot Property, Don’t Scream, and Yung Filly’s Celeb Lock-In.
Beyond his work for the BBC, the internet star has also been featured in programmes like Channel 4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.

Black British YouTuber Yung Filly has admitted guilt to reckless driving in Australia while on bail concerning rape charges.
The 29-year-old, identified as Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, confessed to exceeding the speed limit by about 60 km/h (37 mph) on a highway in Perth last month.
He has not yet entered a plea for eight sexual assault charges stemming from allegations that he assaulted a lady in his Perth hotel room during a nightclub performance in September.
Barrientos is primarily recognised for his involvement with the YouTube collective Beta Squad and has hosted programs on BBC Three.
Barrientos appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday, when his attorney indicated that her client will plead guilty to the driving infraction that led to the impoundment of his vehicle.
The case was postponed until 30 January to be considered concurrently with Barrientos’ additional allegations, which comprise four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily damage, and one act of choking.
The rapper was touring in Australia, presenting his music when the purported rape transpired. His bail restrictions prohibit him from departing the state of Western Australia or disseminating information regarding the case on social media.
