Three men who carried out the repeated rape of a teenage girl at a property in Slough have been sentenced to a collective total of 34 years and 10 months’ imprisonment at Reading Crown Court following unanimous jury convictions.
The investigation commenced in July 2023 when Thames Valley Police received an emergency report that a teenage girl had been subjected to multiple rapes by three adult males at a residential address in Slough.
Specialist officers took swift action, locating and arresting all three suspects on 5 July 2023. Following extensive investigative work, formal charges were brought on 19 May 2025.
Under statutory legislation, the teenage victim is protected by lifelong anonymity.
All three defendants entered pleas of not guilty to every charge, compelling the young survivor to endure the criminal trial process and give evidence in court.
Following deliberations at Reading Crown Court, the jury unanimously found each defendant guilty on all counts.
On Monday, 21 September, the court handed down the following sentences:
- Teague Rose, aged 36, of Chantry Close, Windsor: convicted of one count of rape and one count of attempted rape. He was sentenced to 12 years and 10 months’ imprisonment (154 months).
- Delwyn Rose, aged 28, of Mead Avenue, Slough: convicted of three counts of rape. He was sentenced to 11 years’ imprisonment (132 months).
- Raymond Sithole, aged 27, of Long Furlong Drive, Slough: convicted of one count of rape. He was sentenced to 11 years’ imprisonment (132 months).
Investigating officers praised the extraordinary courage demonstrated by the teenage victim throughout the lengthy inquiry and judicial proceedings, which proved vital in securing unanimous convictions against all three perpetrators.
All three men will be subject to indefinite notification requirements on the Sex Offenders Register and will face restrictive preventative orders upon their eventual release.
Release Calculation: Under UK sentencing legislation governing determinate sentences of seven years or more for serious sexual offences, statutory halfway release is excluded. All three men must serve two-thirds of their custodial terms behind bars before becoming eligible for parole consideration. Teague Rose must serve eight years and six months (102 months) in prison custody, while Delwyn Rose and Raymond Sithole must each serve seven years and four months (88 months) before the Parole Board considers their release on licence under probation supervision.
