Former Denbigh resident Robert Jones targeted a dog walker, a woman out with her infant, and a daughter at her mother’s grave in addition to doing sex acts in front of children on buses.
In January 2018, he attacked a 15-year-old girl who was travelling by bus.
Jones is reported to have informed the young person that he “liked girls in school uniform” after stroking the schoolgirl’s shoulder and sitting close to her. Jones was “playing with himself” and had his hands “down his pants” during this one-way exchange.
Then, in June 2022, Jones engaged in a sexual act in front of a 14-year-old schoolboy while perusing an adult magazine.
The court heard that he was sitting on the bus’s upper deck when the incident occurred at around seven in the morning.
Jones pushed a baby in a stroller while exposing himself to a woman on Denbigh High Street.
Jones allegedly began performing a sex act in front of her while maintaining eye contact.
Then, after stopping a dogwalker and talking to her about her pet, he flashed his manhood at her.
Jones then went after a lone woman who was at her mother’s funeral. The woman fled as he walked up to her with his hands in his pockets and seemed to be doing a sex act on himself.
