Is Alan Baskerville-Mansell, the Rochford Paedophile, dead yet? Let us hope that the East Sussex child molester is long gone and he hasn’t passed on his deviant predilections.
In 2014, a paedophile mechanic, Alan Baskerville-Mansell, was incarcerated for 23 years following his conviction for multiple past sexual assaults on two minors.
Alan Baskerville-Mansell, 59, of Sutton Road, Rochford, was sentenced today at Isleworth Crown Court following his conviction last month for 13 sexual offences dating back to the 1960s.
The court was informed that Alan Baskerville-Mansell, a resident of Uxbridge from 1968 to 1973, perpetrated assaults on a child from the age of 11 until she turned 16. This occurred between the ages of 14 and 19.
A male victim, aged between six and eleven, was assaulted in locations in East Sussex and Essex, specifically in Eastbourne and Canvey Island, during the early 1980s.
In 2012, both victims reported the incidents, leading to a police investigation. Alan Baskerville-Mansell was arrested at his residence on August 9, 2012, and subsequently charged on July 8, 2013, with 13 crimes.
Detective Constable Helen Ider, from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, stated: “I hope that the sentence imposed today will reassure the public that the Metropolitan Police prioritises the investigation of child abuse and sexual offences.”
“I urge all individuals who experienced sexual abuse as children or adults, irrespective of the time elapsed, to come forward and communicate with us.”
