In 2021, Adam Goulden, THEN a 37-year-old delivery driver from Dartmouth, was jailed for over four years after abusing a toddler in his van and filming the attacks.
Adam Goulden, of Dartmouth, Devon, pleaded guilty at Exeter Crown Court to sexual assault on a child, making and possessing indecent images of children, possession of extreme images, and two counts of possession of cannabis. The court heard that Goulden used his relationship with an innocent mother to gain access to her two-year-old daughter. On 14 August 2019, Goulden sexually assaulted the toddler inside his delivery van for over 20 minutes, recording the abuse and later bragging about it in messages to another offender. Police recovered four videos and 75 still images of the assault from his phone and computer, alongside additional downloaded child abuse images and 207 extreme images depicting acts of bestiality involving himself.
Judge Peter Johnson certified Goulden as a dangerous offender and sentenced him to four years and four months in prison.
Following his convictions, Goulden was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
He also remains subject to statutory public protection notification requirements, licence conditions, and monitoring by law enforcement upon release.
