In 2021, the Offender Register confirmed that the release of a ‘highly dangerous’ paedophile who captured indecent images of a five-year-old girl after serving only 12 months in prison has been announced.
Jeff Robinson was incarcerated last year after he took indecent photos of a five-year-old girl and subsequently suggested to a stranger that he could sexually abuse her after sending him the images.
A sexually explicit account of the actions Robinson claimed to have taken against the young girl was accompanied by the photographs. Robinson, who resides in Tebworth, near Leighton Buzzard, communicated with the other man online through a specialised application that guaranteed anonymity.
There was a discussion between the defendant and the other man regarding their interest in child sex abuse. The defendant disclosed sexual activity in which he had been involved with a five-year-old girl.
In one communication, he informed the man, “We can have a lot of fun with her if you are interested.”
Robinson stated that he would “love” for the other man to sexually abuse the minor, and the two men contemplated meeting up.
Robinson enquired of the man, “Do you engage in play with young people for real, or is it merely a pastime for you?” in a subsequent correspondence.
The man was informed of Robinson’s sexual activities with children and received photographs of the girl.
The police discovered 72 images of young children on his phone, including the five-year-old girl to whom he had been referring during his conversations with the other man.
He was sentenced to a total of two years and eight months. Robinson was released after serving a 12-month sentence, including remand time.
He is currently residing in Tebworth, which is in proximity to Leighton Buzzard.
