In 2026, the Offender Register reported that Benjamin Stafford, who sexually abused a child, was sentenced to six years in prison after our detectives conducted a home search and discovered a plethora of evidence against him.
We began to suspect that 34-year-old Benjamin Stafford, who was residing in Bidford at the time, had indecent images of children last year.
After conducting a search of his residence, confiscating his devices, and apprehending him, we discovered hundreds of indecent images of children, extreme images, and evidence that he had sexually abused a child.
Stafford, who currently resides in Pershore, Worcestershire, conducted two no-comment interviews. However, detectives assembled such a compelling case against him that he ultimately entered a guilty plea.
- One count of assaulting a child under 13 by touching.
- Three counts of making indecent photographs of a child.
- One count of taking indecent photographs of a child.
- One count of possession of an extreme image of an animal.
- One count of possession of a prohibited image of a child.
- One count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
- One count of distributing indecent photographs of a child.
And at Warwick Crown Court on Monday, 29 June, he was sentenced to 6 years’ imprisonment.
