A rugby sex offender, Abed Hussain, was convicted of several non-recent sexual offences, such as gross indecency and indecent assault.
In 1993, Abed Hussain mistreated his victim three times when he had authority over the teenage lad.
The 69-year-old was taken into custody after an investigation into the abuse was launched in 2024.

Hussain denied any wrongdoing, but a jury found him guilty of all nine counts at a trial earlier this month.
The charges included four acts of gross indecency with a child under 14, four counts of indecent assault on a boy under 14, and one crime of buggery with a boy under 16. On August 18, he will be sentenced at Warwick Crown Court.
