A man from Wragby, close to Market Rasen, was found guilty of repeated sexual assault charges against children after being referred by colleagues in the National Crime Agency (NCA).

McCorley Booth, 30, of Newton Close, Wragby, Market Rasen, entered a guilty plea to two counts of creating indecent photos, distributing indecent images, assaulting a child under 13 by touching, and inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

He was sentenced to a total of seven years in jail yesterday, Thursday, June 25, at Lincoln Crown Court.

Booth was punished as follows after entering a guilty plea to two offences that occurred in February 2025:

Encourage or cause a girl under the age of thirteen to have intercourse without penetrating her [seven years]
Take a child’s obscene photo or pseudo-photograph [eight months concurrently]

He was sentenced as follows after being remanded into prison and entering a guilty plea to three charges from 2024 at a later hearing:

-Touch a boy under the age of thirteen [four years concurrent]
-Take a child’s obscene photo or pseudo-photograph [eight months concurrently]
-Distribute a child’s pornographic photo or pseudo-photograph [eight months simultaneously]

He was given a five-year restraining order and a 15-year sexual harm prevention order. He will be permanently added to the sex offender registry.
