Chicago police are looking for a man who may have sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl in Chatham.
A man is being sought by Chicago police for allegedly sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl on the South Side of the city this past weekend.
According to police, the burglary occurred in the 100 block of West 87th Street in Chatham at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Saturday.
According to CPD, a man “pretended to fall and brace his fall” by grasping a 6-year-old girl who was there with her mother.
Pictures of the suspect were released by Chicago police.
According to authorities, he is between 40 and 45 years old, weighs between 180 and 200 pounds, and was last seen sporting a light blue shirt, grey slacks, black gym shoes and a grey and black baseball cap.
As Chicago police continue their investigation, no more details were provided.
