Metropolitan Police detectives have reported a serious rape investigation in the Tulse Hill area of South London. Officers from the South West Command Unit have released an image of a man they urgently wish to identify and speak with in connection with the attack.
The investigation was launched on Friday, 25 April 2025, following reports that a woman was raped inside a residential address in Tulse Hill, SW2. Since the report, the victim has been receiving continuous support from specialist officers and partner agencies.

Detective Superintendent Chris Heathcote emphasised the diligent work carried out by detectives, including witness interviews and extensive CCTV reviews. He noted the immense strength it takes for survivors to report such vile offences and reaffirmed the force’s commitment to investigating violence against women and girls with the utmost sensitivity.
Detectives believe the man captured in the released image can assist with their serious enquiries. Police are urging the public to look closely at the picture and come forward with any information that could help identify the person.
